Hello! Recession has been on hold for a little while, but it is back on track now and I’d like to start doing a dev blog about it. It may not be too frequent, but I will try to post as often as I can.

The game is quickly approaching version 0.1a, which means it’ll be time for an alpha test. When will that be? Not sure. The game is in a very ‘alpha’ (hint: buggy) state right now and most of my day goes towards fixing bug #9812.

So what is being worked on? Well right now I’m working with artists to create the first iterations of 3 levels:
– Bank
– Grocery
– Drug House

The implementation of night maps has worked pretty well so far:

Aside from that I am working on fixing up some nasty bugs with the current iteration of the AI bots to make them harder to kill.

All in all, I am very excited about the progress that is being made on the game, and I can’t wait to show it to all of you!
